Chelsey Lloyd, BS, LPTA

Chelsey Lloyd, LPTA, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and a concentration in Exercise Science from Liberty University in 2009. She then worked as a physical therapy tech at the Rehab Associates Forest clinic. Chelsey continued her education at Jefferson College of Sciences, earning an Associate of Applied Science degree as a physical therapist assistant in 2012. She was recognized for clinical excellence upon graduation.

Chelsey started her career as a physical therapist assistant at the Brookneal clinic before moving back to the Forest clinic. She now serves as the site director at the Amherst clinic.

Passionate about helping her patients in the outpatient setting to restore function, Chelsey has a special interest in general orthopedics and sports rehabilitation.

In her spare time, Chelsey enjoys hiking and camping with her family and golden retriever and she enjoys running outdoors.

Physical Therapist I

Joelyn Cunningham graduated from Emory and Henry School of Health Sciences in May 2018 and was part of the inaugural cohort.   She was the starting shortstop for the Forum Panther’s softball team her first 2 years of undergrad and loves staying physically active by doing Beachbody workouts.  She is a huge Green Bay Packers and UVA fan, and love listening to bluegrass music. Dr. Cunningham plans to specialize in geriatric physical therapy.
