Rehab Associates of Central Virginia (National Practice of the Year 2015) is an outpatient physical therapy clinic specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine. Our licensed physical therapists Forest have experience in treating a variety of diagnoses. Each new patient will receive an initial evaluation, where we go through the cause of the injury, the affected areas, as well as the patient’s short and long term goals. We also keep in constant communication with your health care provider. This way we can integrate into your existing health care team, promoting faster and more efficient recovery programs. In addition to physical therapy, we educate and give our patients a home exercise plan developed to enhance their physical therapy program.

Dr. Robin Glover, a native of Appomattox, VA and a 1995 graduate of Appomattox County High School, received her Masters of Science in Physical therapy degree from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2007. She attended the University of Virginia as an undergraduate and received her Bachelors of Education in Sports Medicine degree in 1999. She is a certified athletic trainer and has a special interest in the rehabilitation of athletes following injury. Her clinical experience involves rehabilitation of general orthopedic problems with a special interest in the hip, knee, and shoulder. She is also a certified Functional Capacity and Post Offer Pre-Employment Evaluator and has a special interest in the rehabilitation and injury prevention of industrial athletes.

Michael Richardson received a Master of Science of Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia in 1998. He received his doctorate of physical therapy from the Medical College of Virginia in 2007. His clinical experiences are in general orthopedics, neurologic rehabilitation and sports medicine, with a special interest is in the spine.

Dr. Michelle Amos is an Ohio native, receiving her Bachelor’s of Science degree in 2014 from Marietta College, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2017 from Ohio University. She enjoys physical rehabilitation of all ages, with a special interest in the geriatric population. Dr Amos also takes pride in patient education and finds deep satisfaction in the success of her patients. In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her church family, husband and son, running, and being outdoors.

Dr. Rebecca Irby is an alum of Virginia Tech where she was a member of the Cross Country and Track teams before receiving her BS in Biology and Chemistry. She then attended MCV in Richmond to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2005. As a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics, Rebecca enjoys treating general orthopedic injuries and is certified in Dry Needling and level 2 Stecco Fascial Manipulation. In her spare time, she continues an active lifestyle with her husband, Dustin, and 2 children. She also coaches a developmental Cross Country program and is active in helping her church’s youth group.
