Rehab Associates of Central Virginia in Bedford is located in the Cedar Hill Professional Center, on the corner of W. Main Street and Cedar Hill Court. Even though we are near the heart of Downtown Bedford, our physical therapy clinic offers lot parking for our patients. We realize that the Bedford community is always on the move and we enjoy being able to work with our patients in a timely fashion to get them back to the activities that they enjoy. Dr. Hunt received a Master of Science of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in 1998. She then received a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University in 2003. She is now a Certified Manual Physical Therapist from the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). Dr. Hunt’s areas of interest are general orthopedics and sports medicine. In her free time, she enjoys running, skiing, and spending time with her family.

Michelle Tinsley, PTA
Michelle Tinsley, Physical Therapist Assistant III moved to Lynchburg in 2002 from College Park, Maryland where she attended University of Maryland. Michelle joined Rehabilitation Associates in February of 2003 as a physical therapist aide and returned to college where she received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapist Assistant at Jefferson College of Health Sciences in 2006. Michelle was awarded the Advanced Proficiency Award in Musculoskeletal Conditions in February 2014. Michelle works out of the Bedford clinic and her areas of interest are manual therapy, general orthopedics and geriatrics. Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and the outdoors.

Angela Lamoureux, PT, DPT
Dr. Angela Lamoureux is a native of Niagara Falls, NY where she grew up on her family’s farm. She was a year-round athlete, playing premier soccer and running indoor/outdoor track. After graduating high school, she attended Liberty University where she met her husband and received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Physiology. Shortly after, Dr. Lamoureux attended Tufts University, receiving her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in December 2022. Angela enjoys working alongside her husband training young athletes, running and weight training, spending time with her large family, and learning more about healing the human body. Her special interests include Sports Medicine, Low Back Pain, Pain Science, and Gait/Balance.
