Joelyn Cunningham graduated from Emory and Henry School of Health Sciences in May 2018 and was part of the inaugural cohort.   She was the starting shortstop for the Forum Panther’s softball team her first 2 years of undergrad and loves staying physically active by doing Beachbody workouts.  She is a huge Green Bay Packers and UVA fan, and love listening to bluegrass music. Dr. Cunningham plans to specialize in geriatric physical therapy.

Michelle Tinsley, Physical Therapist Assistant III moved to Lynchburg in 2002 from College Park, Maryland where she attended University of Maryland. Michelle joined Rehabilitation Associates in February of 2003 as a physical therapist aide and returned to college where she received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapist Assistant at Jefferson College of Health Sciences in 2006. Michelle was awarded the Advanced Proficiency Award in Musculoskeletal Conditions in February 2014. Her special interests include Parkinson’s disease, pelvic therapy, and manual therapy with an emphasis on the spine.  Her favorite hobbies are horseback riding and cycling.
