Joelyn Cunningham graduated from Emory and Henry School of Health Sciences in May 2018 and was part of the inaugural cohort.   She was the starting shortstop for the Forum Panther’s softball team her first 2 years of undergrad and loves staying physically active by doing Beachbody workouts.  She is a huge Green Bay Packers and UVA fan, and love listening to bluegrass music. Dr. Cunningham plans to specialize in geriatric physical therapy.

Lindsay Daniel, PT, DPT

Lindsay is a Maryland native. In 2014 she received her Bachelor's degree from Texas State University and in 2019 she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The University of Lynchburg. Her areas of interest within physical therapy include general orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys running and staying active, relaxing and reading, and exploring Lynchburg.

Matthew graduated from Longwood University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. He started working as an aide with Rehab Associates for 5 years prior to attending Jefferson College of Health Sciences to pursue a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. He graduated in 2011 where he received an award for clinical excellence and then began working in our Appomattox clinic as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.

Dr. Hunt received a Master of Science of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in 1998.  She then received a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University in 2003.  She is now a Certified Manual Physical Therapist from North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).   Dr. Hunt’s areas of interest are general orthopedics and sports medicine.  In her free time, she enjoys running, skiing, and spending time with her family.

Jordan Bosiger

Jordan is a native of Forest, VA and graduated from Liberty University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. After working as a tech at Rehab Associates in Rustburg, she decided to go back to school and attended Jefferson College of Health Sciences and graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2019. She has special interests in sports rehabilitation, post-concussion syndrome, and manual therapy. When she’s not at works she enjoys working out, watching baseball, and taking on DIY projects.

Michelle Tinsley - PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant III

Michelle Tinsley, Physical Therapist Assistant III moved to Lynchburg in 2002 from College Park, Maryland where she attended University of Maryland. Michelle joined Rehabilitation Associates in February of 2003 as a physical therapist aide and returned to college where she received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapist Assistant at Jefferson College of Health Sciences in 2006. Michelle was awarded the Advanced Proficiency Award in Musculoskeletal Conditions in February 2014. Michelle works out of the Bedford clinic and her areas of interest are manual therapy, general orthopedics and geriatrics. Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and the outdoors.

Mr. Tanner, a native of Big Island, VA, received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Lynchburg College in 2014. He later received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Lynchburg College in 2017. His areas of interest include general orthopedics, manual therapy, and sports rehabilitation. Jake plans to work towards obtaining higher-level certifications in manual therapy and orthopedics in the near future. In his spare time, Jake likes to spend time with his wife, hunt, fish, and help out on his family’s farm.

Nolen is a native of Lynchburg and attended Bridgewater College, graduating in 2007 with a degree in Allied Health Sciences. While attending Bridgewater College, he played varsity baseball all four years. Dr. Nolen then earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Lynchburg College in 2014. He has special interests in general orthopedics, sport specific rehabilitation, and manual therapy. He is working towards earning his OCS and certification in manual therapy. Michael Richardson received a Master of Science of Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia in 1998. He received his doctorate of physical therapy from the Medical College of Virginia in 2007. Rebecca Crotser, PTA

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at the Forest Clinic Resource Therapist on Mondays and Fridays Rebecca Crotser graduated from Jefferson College of Health Science in 2012 with an Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant.  She completed her B.S. in Health and Chemistry at Liberty University and CMT following her graduation. Her special interests include Parkinson’s disease, pelvic therapy, and manual therapy with an emphasis on the spine.  Her favorite hobbies are horseback riding and cycling.
