Catherine Martin, a native of Lynchburg and a 2005 graduate of Heritage High School, received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Shenandoah University in 2010. She also attended Shenandoah University as an undergraduate where she played softball and volleyball for the Hornets and received her Bachelor’s degree in 2007. She has a special interest in the rehabilitation of athletes following injury with the expectation of returning them to their highest level of pre-injury competition. She is a Clinical Instructor for PT and PTA students from Lynchburg College, Jefferson College of Health Science, and Shenandoah University. Catherine is currently a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist through the APTA and is a certified Functional Movement Specialist as well.
